In an article by Politico said, “an anonymous U.S. citizen living in that state is suing over being denied payments because she files taxes jointly with her spouse, an immigrant with an individual taxpayer identification number, or ITIN, not a Social Security number. In the spouse-related class-action complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for Central California”

Some 1.2 million Americans are married to immigrants who don’t have Social Security numbers. Discrimination based on the fundamental right to marry is presumptively unconstitutional and subject to strict scrutiny, said by the courts.

First off, several months before the coronavirus pandemic began, the Trump administration eliminated a key American public health position in Beijing that was intended to help detect disease outbreaks in China.

In my opinion, there seems to be little reason to believe that China has been forthcoming, but perhaps it would have been more opaque of the who had not worn kid gloves. Politics and diplomacy can be very messy.

I don’t know why people are so mad China. When Trump also cut funding for the CDC, forcing the CDC to cancel its efforts to help countries prevent infectious-disease threats from becoming epidemics in 39 of 49 countries in 2018.

This incident purportedly told the neighbor within a few years of the alleged incident, marks the first detailed and on-the-record corroboration of Reade’s allegation.
The Biden campaign has denied Reade’s allegation that Biden sexually assaulted her in 1993 when she was an aide in his Senate office.

This story is quite disgusting and unwanted by me and many others who flavor Joe Biden.

Vice President Biden has dedicated his public life to changing the culture and the laws around violence against women. He authored and fought for the passage and reauthorization of the landmark Violence Against Women Act. He firmly believes that women have a right to be heard and heard respectfully.

Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota and Kamala Harris of California and former Georgia House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams all have said that they respect women making such allegations and take them seriously. But they haven’t wavered in their support for Mr. Biden.”

People resort to lying for so many different reasons that it’d be impossible to list them all. However, of the most common motives for telling lies, avoiding punishment is the primary motivator for both children and adults. Congressional Democrats say Education Secretary Betsy DeVos exceeded her authority by cutting undocumented college students out of access to emergency federal aid to cover expenses like food, housing, and child care.

An article by Politico said, “Senators Michael Bennet of Colorado and Bob Menendez of New Jersey urged DeVos in a letter Monday to reverse her restrictions because the economic rescue law included no explicit limitations on which students could receive $6 billion dollars in emergency cash grants.”

Secretary of Education DeVos is just another prime example of the incompetence of the Trump administration. Trump is not the solution he is the problem.

An article timeline by education votes said, “She was unfamiliar with the difference between proficiency and growth. She won’t say whether she believes guns belong in schools and whether for-profit charters that receive public funding should be held to the same standards as public schools.”

First off, this woman is responsible for supporting a budget that hurts Historically Black Colleges and Universities and makes a $3.9 billion reduction to Pell Grants, which a majority of HBCU students rely on.

Secondly, DeVos rescinds sexual assault guidelines. She weakens protections against sexual harassment and assault.

Lastly, this horrible woman supports Trump’s budget proposal to slash funding for the Department of Education by 13.5%. As a struggling college student, those policies don’t aline with me.

An article by the New York Post, they said, “Joe Biden has been accused of trying to “out-Trump” President Trump after he released a tough-on-China campaign video, which backfired and upset the left flank of his base.”

The ad, released over the weekend paints the former Vice President as one of the first people to alert everyone over the coronavirus as Trump continuously praised China, allowing COVID-19 to spread around the world.

Which is true. That’s why Biden is the better candidate. First, You give president Biden both the Senate and House, and every progressive policy will get signed. He will not veto a Democratic Congress approved program.

However, Biden needs to embrace a younger generation within his administration instead of calling on all of the usual suspects. People want to change this time. They want to feel important no matter what line of work they’re in. They want to matter. They want to be validated with an honest rate of pay and benefits.

President, Trump is planning to speak with the nation’s governors on Thursday to implement reopening plans amid the coronavirus pandemic and that the federal government would be available to help oversee that process.

ABC said, “Trump will “authorize” governors to reopen their states, even though he has no power to do so and governors don’t need his permission.

An ABC article wrote Trump’s plans for the re-opening of the country. “Trump says passed the peak for new cases’ nationwideCoronavirus relief checks to have. Trump’s name printed on them, some experts call move ‘unprecedented reversal, he says the decision to reopen states will be up to individual governors, after earlier saying he had ‘total’ authority to make the call governors will be responsible for critical testing.

An article by CNBC said, “Trump says the day will be very close because certain states as you know are in a much different condition and are in a much different place than other states. It’s going to be very very close. Maybe even before the date of May 1st,”

I’m just going to ignore everything that Trump just said. Here is what we need to do.

First, we need to bolster and empower the middle class the heartbeat of the American dream by better supporting unions. On case in point for the problem with the status quo is the apparent firing of an Amazon warehouse worker who led a walkout over the safety conditions at the company’s Staten Island warehouse after cases of Covid-19 were confirmed.

Second, we must invest in education and skills training to better empower America’s middle class who will always be the driving force of our economy. Teachers and nurses should not have to worry about how they are going to pay an unexpected 500 billion dollars. Permanently providing federal income tax relief to teachers, expanding STEM education, and affording professional development resources are critical to restoring America’s human capital.

Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the house lashed at President Donald Trump during a private call with her caucus on Monday. She said he was putting Americans in grave danger if he rushes to reopen the economy.

An article at politico said, “Pelosi sharply criticized Trump’s handling of the coronavirus outbreak, telling Democrats it was almost sinful how his administration had failed to live up to promises to make testing available to all Americans and quickly address the mask, gown, and glove supply shortage in hospitals across the country.”

Trump has more misrepresentations he puts out there, he obscures the truth. Pelosi said, “We have to insist upon the truth what they’re saying is not knowledge, is not facts, is not real.”

Let’s see Trump start sending in the National Guard to take control of our states, cities, businesses, schools, homes. That will really help his chances of re-election.

Trump had no power to ‘force’ states to re-open on some artificial timeline of his choosing, and will only get a handful of Red State governors to go along with his plan. Once the virus surges in those Red States, Trump can kiss his re-election bid goodbye and the Republicans will lose the Senate as well.

A new wave of American workers filed for unemployment some who are the first-timer. Article by NBC said, “The employment claims bought a cumulative total to an astonishing 16 million over the past three weeks.”

So far, jobless claims look to me like the only limitation on the number of applications has been the states’ ability to process those claims.

NBC said, “The cumulative toll of the last three weeks comes as last week’s Labor Department release showed that the economy shed 701,000 jobs in March a figure far more negative than anticipated, although economists said it only captured a fraction of the carnage in the labor market that largely took place in the second half of the month.”
26 states covering about 70 percent of the U.S. workforce already have formal programs to provide financial help to employers who embrace shared-work policies; those states need to do more to make employers aware of the option. And states that don’t yet have formal shared-work programs can and should put them in place quickly.

The best option the government always forget is that programs work. Here’s how work-sharing, or “short-time compensation” programs work.

An article by Politico new said, “Employers experiencing a temporary reduction in business agree to cut employees hours instead of laying off workers entirely. Employees on reduced hours receive unemployment benefits in proportion to the reduction in their hours.” Businesses benefit by retaining valued employees and avoiding recruitment and training costs when economic conditions return to normal. Workers benefit by retaining most of their income and access to health insurance — a critical factor in a public health-triggered economic crisis like this one.

By helping to keep people in their jobs, work-share programs mitigate unemployment. And short-time compensation benefits are well-targeted, reaching exactly the people who are suffering a drop in earnings and are likely to need the money the most. In this sense, they are better targeted and more likely to provide direct economic stimulus than cutting payroll taxes or sending checks to everyone.

Shared-work programs are specifically designed to help businesses and workers and their communities get through temporary economic disruptions like those caused by COVID-19.

Senator Warren provides a cogent summary of how federal policymakers should be thinking about the pandemic in the coming months,” Obama wrote in a tweet discussing her multiple plans to address the global pandemic and its economic fallout.

An article written by Krawczyk said,”In the Vox interview from that Obama praised, Warren criticized the Trump administration for its lack of a consistent, coherent plan to fight the outbreak. The Massachusetts senator dismissed Trump’s resistance to a strong federal response, describing his preference to let governors go their own way “just simply wrong.”

Even though the Warren plan is quite interesting. The best thing the government could do now is returning to pre-2001 tax policies and use that revenue to invest in public infrastructure. Critical projects such as roads and bridges, which saw some money under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, create jobs and serve an obvious community need.

One of the reasons American companies are earning so much money is that they’re paying very little to their rank and file employees.This is also why average earnings have been stagnant for 50 years and most American consumers are broke. Wages as a percent of the economy are at an all-time low.
